Mechanical Engineer for Our New Team at JENSEN Denmark A/S

Would you like to work with mechanical engineering, technical development and projects in close collaboration with colleagues across the organisation?

JENSEN Denmark A/S has established the Transport and Handling Systems (THS) department, which works with Jenway, Jenrail, Turnus, Viking and other conveyor solutions.

We are now looking for a new colleague who will have technical responsibility for Jenway and become a central part of the continued development of this product area.

The position

This is an engineering role with extended responsibilities. Your tasks will include:

• Mechanical engineering and project customisation of Jenway solutions
• Preparing and maintaining 3D CAD models, drawings and bills of materials
• Developing and standardising new and existing solutions
• Managing project variants, technical interfaces and design changes
• Supporting production, assembly, testing and commissioning
• Automating internal processes and improving ways of working
• Following up on targets, lead times, direct costs and after-shipments
• Contributing to solutions that are simple to manufacture, assemble and deliver

You will work closely with colleagues in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software, layout, sales, project management, production and procurement.

Your background

We imagine that you:

• Have a technical background with a focus on mechanics—for example, as an engineer, production technologist or technician—or equivalent practical experience
• Have experience with mechanical design and 3D CAD, preferably Autodesk Inventor
• Are able to work systematically with technical documentation, bills of materials and design changes
• Are interested in standardisation, product development and improving working processes
• Have experience with or an interest in ERP systems, preferably AX
• Can collaborate across disciplines and communicate clearly in Danish and English

Experience with conveyors, automated systems or project-based machine building would be an advantage. However, the most important qualities are your technical understanding, curiosity and willingness to take responsibility.
